Nationstar Optoelectronics reveals new MIP strategy

In 2025, MIP technology has achieved a critical leap from concept verification to small-scale commercial use. The upstream and downstream industry chains have collaborated to accelerate the commercialization of MIP through technological innovation and production capacity expansion.

As one of the first companies to lay out the MIP track, Nationstar Optoelectronics has completed the key leap from a single device to ultra-high-definition display panels and complete module solutions by launching its MIP panel AS series products. At present, main specifications such as AS1.5, AS1.2, and AS0.9 have achieved large-scale mass production, and the smaller pitch AS0.7 has been successfully developed, further exploring the high-end micro-pitch market.

In terms of production capacity planning, with the completion and commissioning of Nationstar Geely Industrial Park and the relocation of RGB production capacity in the original factory area, 2000KK/month of new production capacity and 1200KK/month of new MIP production capacity will be completed in 2025, laying the foundation for large-scale order delivery and continuous cost reduction.

Nationstar Optoelectronics stated that 2026 will be a critical year for MIP panels to move from a "technical verification period" to a "large-scale production period". Driven by capacity expansion, cost reduction, scenario expansion and industrial chain collaboration, MIP is expected to become the core technology path for LED displays to upgrade to fine pitch and high image quality, and continue to penetrate into high-end commercial displays, consumer electronics, automotive and other fields. Nationstar will use MIP panels as its starting point this year to find a second growth point, continue to increase MIP product production capacity, reduce costs and increase efficiency.
