With a total investment of 15 billion, Huike’s two major MLED projects are capped

Recently, Huike has continued to make efforts in the MLED field, and both major projects have reached their peak.

Specifically, the main factory building of the Mianyang Huike project has been capped in advance; the main chip factory building of the Nanchong project has entered the capping stage. The breakthroughs in the two major project nodes mark the acceleration of the vertical industry chain construction of Huike's upstream chips and midstream modules.

■ The main factory building of Mianyang Huike Project has been capped

According to the official WeChat account of "Sichuan Mianyang Industrial Park", the concrete structure of the main factory building of the new display industrial park infrastructure construction project of Sichuan Mianyang Industrial Park (Mianyang Huike Project) has been capped ahead of schedule.

According to reports, the total construction area of the project is approximately 477,500 square meters. The main construction content includes the main factory building and supporting factory buildings, as well as the simultaneous configuration of public facilities such as heating, ventilation, and electricity, as well as ancillary projects such as park roads, rainwater and sewage pipe networks.

The project started in October 2025, and the concrete pouring of the large roof began in early April 2026. The concrete pouring of the large roof was successfully completed on May 20, achieving the capping target earlier than originally planned. As of now, 74% of the overall civil engineering work has been completed. At the same time, mechanical and electrical engineering and clean decoration are advancing in an orderly manner, and 1.81% of the total mechanical and electrical engineering work has been completed.

It is understood that the Mianyang Huike Mini LED project is located in the East District of Sichuan Mianyang Industrial Park, Fucheng District, and is constructed by Mianyang Huike Technology Co., Ltd. The total investment in the first phase of the project is 5 billion yuan. The construction includes backlight module and direct display module production lines including epitaxy, cleaning, exposure, evaporation, etching, PECVD, grinding, back plating, cutting, testing, sorting and other production processes.

■ The core chip factory building of the Nanchong project has been capped

On May 20, the main chip factory building of the major industrial supporting infrastructure construction project in Nanchong High-tech Zone has entered the capping stage.

It is understood that the major industrial supporting infrastructure construction project of Nanchong High-tech Zone is a key construction project of the province, city and district. It covers a total area of 242 acres, with a construction area of about 135,000 square meters of factories and supporting facilities. The total area of the core chip factory is 72,000 square meters, with a single-layer area of 24,000 square meters. It mainly produces new full-color M-LED display chips.

The person in charge of the major industrial supporting infrastructure construction project in Nanchong High-tech Zone said that at present, the pile foundation construction of the three major factories of the project has been completed on schedule, with 53% of the main project completed. The entire three major factories are expected to be capped in June.

According to experts, Display has learned that the main chip factory may be a project of Huike.

First of all, the "Shunqing People's Congress" official Weibo report in February directly mentioned the (Huike LED) major industry supporting infrastructure construction project in Nanchong High-tech Zone; secondly, in 2025, the Shunqing District People's Government and Huike Co., Ltd. successfully signed a 10 billion M-LED new display chip base project at the Nanchong City (Chengdu) key industry investment promotion and application scenario conference.

It is reported that the project has a designed monthly production capacity of 1 million pieces and will be constructed in three phases. The first phase has a designed monthly production capacity of 150,000 pieces. The main product is a new full-color M-LED display chip.

■ Huike continues to promote MLED production capacity construction

In recent years, Huike and other panel manufacturers have significantly increased their investment in MLED technology. Taking Huike as an example, in 2026, in addition to the above projects, the main factory building projects of Huike Mini-LED backlight/direct display modules and complete machine projects will be fully capped; the first phase of Huike's new display base project located in Zhengzhou Airport Area has large-scale production capabilities and has entered a stable production stage...

According to official Weibo, Huike has currently invested in and built four 8.6 high-generation production lines and seven display terminal production bases in 10 cities including Chongqing, Mianyang, Changsha, and Zhengzhou, building a full industry chain system covering display panels to complete terminals.

In the future, as Huike continues to invest in the Mini LED field and expand its production capacity, Mini LED technology may become an important part of its core business and provide a strong impetus for the company's performance growth.
