With a total investment of 5.5 billion, another Micro LED-related project has been launched

Following its deployment in Anji, Zhejiang last year, domestic PCB company Xusheng Electronics once again made a key move in the Micro LED field. The company plans to invest 5.5 billion yuan to build a Micro LED carrier board production base in Nanchong, Sichuan, and move its corporate headquarters there.

According to Sichuan Economic Network, on March 26, Nanchong City, Sichuan City held a signing ceremony for investment projects in the first quarter of 2026. 15 projects were signed on site, with a total agreed investment of 13.15 billion yuan. At the ceremony, Xusheng Electronics officially signed a contract and settled in Gaoping District, Nanchong.

It is reported that the production base has a total planned investment of 5.5 billion yuan, mainly producing COB packaging carrier boards for Micro LED displays. It is the largest investment industrial project introduced by Nanchong City since the beginning of 2026. After the project is completed, it will effectively complement Nanchang's local industrial shortcomings in the field of high-end printed circuit boards and help its electronic information industry cluster "build a strong chain."

Information shows that Xusheng Electronics was established on November 6, 2017. It is a key investment and construction project in Jiangxi Province. Its registered address is located at No. 1 Xusheng Avenue, Jishui County Industrial Park, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. It is a PCB circuit board manufacturing enterprise integrating R&D, production and sales. It has a 468-meter automated PCB production line. Its products are widely used in smart homes, communication equipment, medical, automotive electronics, 5G and other fields.

It is worth noting that this Nanchong project is not Xusheng Electronics’ first investment in the field of Micro LED carrier boards. As recently as November 2025, the company has signed a contract in Anji County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, and plans to build a Micro LED COB carrier board production base with an annual output of 2.4 million square meters. Yin Huabiao, CEO of Xusheng Electronics, said at the time that Xusheng Electronics would focus its future development in Anji because of the good local industrial transformation environment.
