On March 23, Chenxian Optoelectronics launched the world's first TFT-based Micro-LED textured screen - "Illusion InviLux" at the ICDT exhibition. This innovative product uses micro-nano texture coating technology, which can present a variety of texture effects such as wood grain, marble grain, metal grain, etc., and supports customized design, making it not only a screen, but also a wall, furniture or art installation, perfectly integrating into various scenes. Different from the "black block" visual fragmentation of traditional screens when the screen is turned off, "InviLux" presents a bright picture when turned on, and seamlessly blends with the background when turned off. Through this product, Chenxian Optoelectronics has once again demonstrated its innovative strength in the field of display technology and its deep insight into user needs.
"Illusion InviLux": Micro-LED technology
A new height
"Illusion InviLux" was jointly developed by Chenxian Optoelectronics and Visionox Innovation Institute, marking a major breakthrough in the practicality and aesthetics of Micro-LED technology. This product has a high-brightness display capability of 600nits, and the variation rate of the stitching pixel spacing is less than 10%, ensuring the continuity of the picture after multi-screen splicing. In addition, thanks to the high reliability and long life of Micro-LED, "InviLux" shows broad application prospects in smart homes, high-end retail, digital art and other fields.

At the "5th Micro/Mini LED Display Key Technology Roadmap Seminar" held at the same time, Dr. Cao Xuan, deputy general manager and CTO of Chenxian Optoelectronics, deeply discussed the technical challenges of Micro-LED packaging splicing, as well as Chenxian Optoelectronics' latest project progress in this field.
Dr. Cao Xuan pointed out that the splicing gap is an important factor affecting the visual effect of TFT-based Micro-LED splicing screens. Chenxian Optoelectronics has established a splicing optical characterization standard, optimized the edge pixel structure, and adopted glass sidewall protection technology and packaging material optimization to control the splicing width within 20 microns, achieving a nearly seamless visual effect.
The viewing angle split screen problem is caused by the large difference in LED light shapes of different screens. The root cause of this problem lies in the inconsistency of quantum dot thickness uniformity and chip etching control during the LED chip manufacturing process. Chenxian Optoelectronics has effectively solved this problem by optimizing the epitaxial growth process, chip etching process and adopting Micro-Lens structure design. After calibration, the TFT-based Micro-LED splicing screen can maintain consistent picture effects at both front and side viewing angles.
