Dry lighting optoelectronic display chip project completes technical transformation filing

Recently, the "Jiangxi New Economic Development Zone" news showed that the future display chip intelligent upgrade project of Jiangxi Qianzhao Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qianzhao Optoelectronics, has completed the technical transformation registration. This project takes the expansion of display chip production capacity and intelligent upgrading as its core direction. Through production line transformation and equipment upgrading, it will further enhance the company's manufacturing capabilities in the fields of LED epitaxy and chips.

The total investment in this project is approximately 228 million yuan, which will be promoted with self-raised funds by the company. The construction period will be from May 2026 to December 2028. The project will rely on the existing factory area for upgrading and transformation, including the second-phase factory decoration and the expansion of a dust-free workshop of approximately 3,095 square meters, to optimize the clean environment for chip production and enhance large-scale production capabilities.

The project plans to add and renovate 224 pieces of automation equipment, and introduce automatic logistics systems and intelligent warehousing systems. After the project is completed and reaches production capacity, it is expected that the future display LED epitaxy and chip production capacity will be approximately 114,600 pieces per year, and the annual new sales revenue will be approximately 100 million yuan. The advancement of this project will help improve the company's production capacity and supply capabilities in the field of display chips.

From the overall business structure, at present, Qianzhao Optoelectronics' core business is still based on LED epitaxial wafers and chips, covering high value-added applications such as Mini RGB, backlight, and automotive. Among them, in the direction of Micro LED, the company promotes the development of special chips through industry-university-research cooperation, and has now entered the sample verification stage.

Qianzhao Optoelectronics is also in the field of optical communications and VCSEL. The company's 10G and 25G products have been mass-produced, and 50G and 100G products are in the research and development stage. At the same time, they are extending to high-end applications such as data centers, communications and vehicle-mounted lidar. It is also working with leading customers to promote the mass production of vehicle-mounted communication VCSEL, which is expected to become an important growth engine.

In addition, driven by the growth in domestic and foreign demand, the solar cell and commercial aerospace business has also become a new source of growth for the company and has begun to contribute to overseas order revenue.
