Recently, on the first anniversary of the LED large screen in the news studio of KNN Busan TV Station in South Korea being put into use, Colorlight used a set of quantitative inspection processes to set a pattern on how to protect customers' core assets.
Instead of using conventional "visual inspection", the technical team introduced the LED Analyzer image quality evaluation system to conduct an in-depth image quality inspection for the large screen.
For the person in charge of procurement, the greatest value of LED Analyzer is that it provides quantifiable and traceable objective basis. It uses high-precision optical equipment to directly conduct rigorous quantitative tests on more than 20 indicators such as the screen's brightness consistency, color reproduction, and grayscale performance.
Brightness consistency test
Evaluate each area of the screen
Brightness attenuation and uniformity after long-term high-frequency use
Color restoration test
Test the display system
Coverage and accurate restoration capabilities of the broadcast-level color gamut
Grayscale performance evaluation
Test the detail expression and transition smoothness of the screen at each grayscale level
After the test is completed, the system immediately generates a visual report containing detailed data. One year later, the various indicators of this screen are still firmly in the excellent range.
This objective and transparent physical examination report gives end customers reassurance. It not only proves the correctness of the early purchasing decision, but also is the most powerful manifestation of Colorite's protection of consumer rights and promotion of display quality standardization.
Today’s excellent test results are inseparable from the solid foundation in the early stages of project construction. At the beginning of the deployment of the LED project of KNN TV station, the technical team fully introduced the Colorlight CCM6000 correction system for on-site image quality optimization.
Many project developers have been trapped in this experience: screens bought at a high price, but when put together, obvious block marks or light and dark lines can be seen. This is not a matter of poor screen quality, but more of a limitation in the physical environment of the on-site installation. Faced with this situation, CCM6000 has demonstrated significant technical advantages:
Eliminate physical barriers
Effectively eliminate chromatic aberration and light and dark line problems caused by cabinet splicing
High-precision point-by-point correction
High-precision equipment cooperates with image algorithms
Significantly improve the brightness and color uniformity of the entire screen
Efficient deployment
In a complex and changeable on-site environment,
Complete the core link of 4K screen calibration in 8 minutes
Through the calibration optimization of CCM6000, the screen gets rid of the physical limitations of hardware splicing and presents a seamless visual texture, allowing every purchase budget to be truly transformed into excellent image quality performance.
In radio and television broadcast and virtual production scenarios, equipment has extremely stringent requirements for signal synchronization and low latency. Colorlight’s full set of XR professional-grade LED display and control solutions were used on site for this project, giving Busan TV station virtual shooting-level display capabilities.
Colorlight's supporting main control series for TV stations, with its powerful underlying architecture, has brought three major technological breakthroughs to the scene:
Extremely high synchronization
Ensures multi-channel camera angles
Accurate frame-level matching with the screen image
Ultra-low latency output
Breaks the lag of virtual and real interaction,
Achieves instant response to the picture
Three-dimensional color correction capability
Accurately adjusts specific colors,
Solving problems in the LED photography industry such as "red faces"
Previously, Colorite's high-end display and control solution has been successfully applied to the world's largest virtual studio project in Deqing, Zhejiang. More than 70 high-end master control devices have achieved perfect cascade operation, creating a stunning visual feast.
This kind of technical strength that has been verified by top large-scale projects confirms that the Colorlight system is not only a reliable support in the current radio and television field, but also a game-breaking tool in the field of XR production.
