The total investment is 5.6 billion, Unilumin Technology and Naichuang project progress updates

Recently, the newly expanded display module production line of Unilumin Technology’s Nanchang base and the new Micro LED display panel project of Nytron Technology have successively announced new progress.

■ Unilumin Technology: The MIP production line of the Nanchang base project is expected to be put into operation in August

On March 23, according to the official Weibo report of Nanchang High-tech Zone, the newly expanded display module production line of Unilumin Technology’s Nanchang base has entered the commissioning stage and is about to be officially mass-produced.

Li Zheng, general manager of Unilumin Technology's Nanchang manufacturing base, said that the project has planned a MIP production line and is expected to start production in mid-August. Driven by the overall production expansion, the total output value of the Nanchang base is expected to increase 4 to 5 times this year.

According to experts, Display understands that Unilumin Technology Nanchang Base, as the core intelligent manufacturing base of Unilumin Technology in Central China, focuses on Mini/Micro LED high-end display modules. It will be signed and put into production in 2025 and will continue to promote the expansion of the production line. The total investment will not exceed 600 million yuan.

The production base is implemented by its wholly-owned subsidiary Nanchang Zhouming Guangxian Technology. It mainly builds COB packaging production lines, chip-level MiP packaging production lines and other LED display production lines and LED lighting production lines. The products will be widely used in Mini/Micro LED display and lighting fields.

■ Nicron Technology: The Micro LED new display panel project has completed raft pouring

"Kunshan Development Zone released" news on March 23 that Nicron Technology Co., Ltd.'s Micro LED new display panel project has completed the raft pouring, and is fully engaged in the installation of steel structures, electromechanical and other work.

Naichuang Technology Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of 120 million yuan, was established in August 2025. It will focus on the production, manufacturing and sales of Micro LED panel components and modules, and has epitaxial wafer processing, mass transfer, SMAR·Tech repair and other technologies.

It is understood that the project was signed and implemented in July 2025. The construction permit was obtained in February 2026 and construction officially started. Previous news revealed that Nitron Technology’s Micro LED high-end display manufacturing project has a total investment of 5 billion. In the future, it will build a Micro LED glass substrate production line. The Kunshan factory is expected to complete construction and start receiving orders in 2026.
