Two new Mini LED products released, gaming + AI dual tracks

On March 23, Hisense’s sub-brands Vidda and Huawei both launched new Mini LED TV products. Each of the two products has its own characteristics and is deployed for different consumer demand scenarios.

▋ Hisense Vidda launches Mini LED TV for gaming scenes

Hisense’s brand Vidda held a new product launch conference in Beijing and officially launched the “Big Gamer G7” Mini LED gaming TV targeting the console gaming scene. This product is available in three sizes: 75-inch, 85-inch, and 100-inch. The price range is from 8,734 yuan to 15,499 yuan, accurately covering gamers with different size needs and budgets.

The brand said that for a long time, the bottom-level optimization of the traditional TV industry has mostly focused on audio-visual playback scenarios, and the adaptation to game scenarios has often stayed at the surface of parameter stacking. As a result, console gamers have always faced a dilemma: if they want the immersion brought by the giant screen, they must sacrifice e-sports-level response speed;

Based on the insight into the core pain points of players, Vidda G7 is positioned in the high-end giant screen game TV track, achieving the perfect coexistence of the "golden triangle of gaming experience" of high image quality, low latency, and smoother gaming experience.

This gaming TV uses a G+Mini LED solution, equipped with 3264 partition backlight, with a peak brightness of up to 7300nits, and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. In order to optimize the viewing experience, this product effectively improves the halo problem and improves the contrast of the picture by shortening the OD distance and improving light gathering efficiency.

In addition, the fuselage is equipped with a low-reflective film with a reflectivity of about 1.8%, which can better adapt to viewing needs in bright environments and avoid the impact of light reflection on the visual experience. This product supports two display modes: 4K 180Hz or 2K 330Hz, and is compatible with game-friendly features such as VRR and ALLM.

▋ Huawei releases Vision Smart Screen 6

At Huawei’s spring full-scenario new product launch conference, Huawei released the new Huawei Vision Smart Screen 6. This series offers a total of four size versions of 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, and 98-inch. The initial pricing is 6,199 yuan, 7,399 yuan, 10,299 yuan, and 16,499 yuan respectively, covering all scene needs from mainstream sizes to ultra-large screens.

The new product is equipped with Huawei’s self-developed Super MiniLED Honghu picture quality, and the 98-inch version has a thousand-level partition. The screen uses a double-layer nano-low-reflective coating with a reflectivity of about 0.5%; the peak brightness of the screen can reach up to 2,000 nits, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It has a built-in quad-core A73 processor, equipped with 8GB of memory, provides 3 HDMI 2.1 interfaces, and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. At the same time, the system is equipped with Hongmeng AI and supports the Lingxi pointing remote control function.

The liquid crystal layer is a sixth-generation solution, and officials say the light transmittance is about 20% higher than the previous generation. It is understood that the product has 4K resolution, 144Hz high refresh rate, combined with 98% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and supports intelligent recognition and partition optimization of 11 scenes such as sports, landscapes, and portraits.

In addition, Huawei Vision Smart Screen 6 adopts an ultra-thin design with a flat backplane, and the thickness of the whole machine is reduced to 4.9 cm. With a screen-to-body ratio of 99%, it further enhances the aesthetics.
