With a total investment of 2.7 billion, the progress of three major LED display-related projects has been updated.

Recently, there have been reports of factory construction, construction, and commissioning of multiple display projects.

■ 1.8 billion yuan, Dacai (Leshan) display base’s first-phase factory construction completed

Recently, “Leshan Release” news showed that the Dacai (Leshan) Southwest Semiconductor New Display Manufacturing Base with an investment of 1.8 billion yuan has completed the first-phase factory construction. It is expected to be completed in August, and the annual output value after put into operation can reach 1 billion yuan.

It is understood that Leshan City Shizhong District and Zhejiang Dacai Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. signed a contract for the Southwest Semiconductor New Display Manufacturing Base Project in February 2026. The project will create a global advanced semiconductor display technology park integrating R&D and high-end manufacturing.

According to data, Zhejiang Dacai Optoelectronics was established in 2020. It is an EMS source intelligent manufacturing company focusing on all categories of LED displays. It has three super factory bases in the east, west, and south, and has a full-technology production process system of SMD, GOB\HOB, COB, and MIP. Its products cover all categories of LED display applications and are suitable for indoor and outdoor commerce, engineering, stage rental, high-end ultra-high-definition and other diverse scenarios.

In the future, with the completion and commissioning of Southwest Semiconductor's new display manufacturing base, Dacai Optoelectronics' production capacity will be further expanded.

It is worth noting that this month, Zhejiang Dacai Optoelectronics also announced the completion of Series B financing. All funds will be used for the new expansion and AI smart manufacturing upgrades of the three major super factories in the west, east and south to further enhance the mass production capabilities of all categories.

Among them, in terms of large-scale expansion of production capacity, the company stated that it will upgrade the SMD standardized mass production lines, GOB/HOB standardized mass production lines, expand COB and MIP high-end precision production lines in the three major factories, realize the large-scale production of conventional products, normalized mass production of high-end products, and build a fully flexible automated adaptation system covering large and small orders.

■ 350 million yuan, Zhongguang Solar LED lamp bead packaging project started

According to reports, the Zhongguang Electric Industrial Park is invested and constructed by Guangdong Zhongyang Electric Technology Co., Ltd. The total investment in this capital increase and expansion industrial park project is 350 million yuan, with a planned construction land of approximately 34.1 acres. A modern production plant, a comprehensive R&D building and supporting ancillary facilities will be built. After the project is completed, it is expected to have an annual production capacity of 100 billion LED lamp beads and tens of millions of photovoltaic products, with an annual output value of 500 million yuan.

Data show that Zhongguang Solar is mainly engaged in core products such as LED lamp bead packaging, solar photovoltaic components, and PCB circuit boards. Its high-power LED lamp bead has the highest domestic market share.

■ 550 million, Zhejiang display project put into production

According to the "Chun'an Release" news, since this year, three high-quality electronic intelligent manufacturing projects, Zhejiang Taituo Electronics, Zhejiang Xihangyi Electronics, and Zhejiang Zhishun Electronics have been concentrated and put into production. The total investment of the projects has reached 550 million yuan, covering liquid crystal display modules, LED optoelectronic displays, precision electronic components, etc.

Among them, Zhejiang Xihangyi Electronics has an annual output of 1.2 million modules, with a total investment of 150 million yuan. It focuses on the professional and large-scale production of optoelectronic products such as LED display modules, LED displays, and LED light sources. The project equipment investment exceeds 100 million yuan and is equipped with intelligent production lines. After reaching full capacity, the annual output value is expected to exceed 160 million yuan.

Zhejiang Taituo Electronics Production Project has a total investment of 200 million yuan and plans to build 18 intelligent production lines in two phases. Among them, the total investment in the first phase is 130 million yuan, which is equipped with a full set of intelligent equipment such as ASM high-speed placement machines, fully automatic solder paste printing machines, online SPI equipment, and AOI visual inspection equipment. After the first phase is put into production, it can form an annual production capacity of 4 million cameras, 5 million LCD screens, and 2.5 million sets of electronic integrated motherboards.
