Xida Electronics 2026: Focus on promoting COB products with P0.7 and below

According to the "2025 Global LED Display Research White Paper", COB will become one of the mainstream technology routes in 2025, accounting for close to 10% of the overall LED display output value. The overall development of Micro MIP has entered the small batch stage, and many manufacturers have included it in their product roadmaps, including some COB companies that have also launched related layouts.

Experts say that Research predicts that in 2026, with the influx of more players into the layout, COB's market penetration and dominant share in the LED display field are expected to continue to expand. COB will clearly further increase the penetration rate at P1.5 pitch, and simultaneously continue to seize the high-end market share of 0.9 and below. Advanced solutions such as AM-MIP are also being advanced, bringing a new round of breakthrough momentum to the industry.

The competition and cooperation between COB and MIP will jointly promote the penetration of LED displays into a wider range of scenarios. 1) Continue to develop COB small-pitch products, focusing on promoting P0.7 and below-pitch products. At present, Xida Electronics has achieved mass production of P0.4 and completed the research and development of P0.3 and entered the trial mass production stage. In the future, it will further advance to smaller pitches.

2) Promote the implementation of MIP technology and expand its application in high-end scenarios based on market demand.

3) Continue to carry out research and development around image quality, power consumption, temperature control and protection, and collaborate with the industry chain to promote technology iteration and product upgrades.

The plan for the year begins in spring, and the strategic planning window at the beginning of the year is injecting new vitality and direction into the LED display industry. The latest news shows that the 2026 expert's annual event "LED Display and MLED Industry Chain 2026 Blueprint Summit" will be held in Shenzhen on March 4.
