It is understood that Zhongqi Optoelectronics has currently achieved large-scale mass production of COB and MIP dual technology routes, and has established a full-chain control from LED chip processing, transfer, packaging to module production, and has independent R&D and manufacturing production capabilities of "substrate → epitaxial wafer → chip → module → application".
In the field of COB manufacturing, Zhongqi Optoelectronics has achieved mass production of full-flip Mini COB at the full pitch of P0.4-P2.5. According to the company’s official Weibo information in October 2025, its Dongcheng factory in Dongguan has a construction area of approximately 110,000 square meters, and its monthly COB production capacity has reached 10,000 square meters.
On the technology research and development side, focusing on COB surface treatment technology, Zhongqi Optoelectronics launched the third-generation "nano black" integrated film solution in 2025 and exhibited new H2 Series products. This product has the characteristics of low power consumption, high brightness, and high contrast. The power consumption is only 280W/㎡ in the 1000nit white screen state, and the power consumption in the 600nit white screen state is only 210W/㎡. The contrast ratio under 10Lux ambient light can reach 10000:1.
On the product innovation side, Zhongqi Optoelectronics continues to expand the boundaries of COB applications and actively promotes the research and development and marketization of large-size vertical panel modules, flexible soft modules, and art screens.
Among them, the flexible module FL Series adopts a box-less, seamless splicing design, and a single module can support up to 30° bending; the art screen solution covers the full pitch of P0.6-P1.8, with a variety of texture options such as wood grain, marble grain, and ink painting, and supports customization according to customer drawings.
On the other hand, in the field of Micro-level MIP manufacturing, Zhongqi Optoelectronics has launched Micro MIP display modules using 0303/0202 lamp beads. The module uses Micro LED chips peeled off the sapphire substrate. The thickness of the light source is controlled within 10 μm. It adopts a 150×168.75mm standard module design and is compatible with 600mm universal boxes.
